Applied Molecular BioSciences Unit
The UCIBIO node, based at the NOVA School of Science and Technology (NOVA-FCT), focuses on integrative analysis of multi-omics profiles and phenotypic data to tackle complex biological inquiries.
UCIBIO contributes in the following ways:
- Developing and disseminating best-practice guidelines for data management, protection, and analysis.
- Providing robust and reproducible pipelines for analyzing a broad spectrum of omics datasets.
- Offering training in high-performance computing environments for executing bioinformatics workflows and conducting downstream analysis using R/Python.
- Providing expert consultation for designing and implementing customized analysis pipelines tailored to specific research projects.
